Haizheng Zhang is a research developer at Microsoft Bing Division. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2006. His advisor was Dr. Victor Lesser.

He has broad interests in many research areas such as Machine learning and social networks, Information retrieval, Multiagent systems and E-commerce Systems. Most recently, he has developed interests in auction market mechanism design and sponsored search research.
